Device and Equipment Recommendations
iPads, Surface Pros, and other portable devices can be used to access Upscale. During process evaluations, skill assessments, or comps, faculty can conveniently use these smaller devices to provide feedback and adjust points in real time. A protective case with a handle is recommended for ease of use and portability.
Upscale Assessment is compatible with devices that support a stylus, which can improve efficiency when entering comments or scores. It is recommended to keep a few stylus-enabled devices available for this purpose.
Additionally, mobile desks or adjustable stands can enhance the experience for students using laptops. Below is an example of a stand being utilized by one of our schools:
